A battle between two of the best bantamweight prospects that Britain has to offer has been added to ACB 87.
Dominique “The Black Panther” Wooding (5-1-0) will meet Dean Garnett (8-2-1) inside the ACB cage in Nottingham on May 19th.
Wooding is fresh from an impressive TKO win over Dominic Dillon at BAMMA 34 earlier this month. “The Black Panther” may be just six fights into his professional MMA career but has already fought for a BAMMA championship. At BAMMA 28, Andy Young handed the Team Titan fighter the only loss of his career in their interim flyweight title fight. While he may not have captured the belt on that occasion, there is no denying that Wooding is improving and at just 21-years-old, there will be plenty more opportunities for gold in the future.
Garnett will be making his fourth appearance for ACB when he faces Wooding at the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena in May. While significantly more experienced, Garnett is looking to snap a two fight losing streak following losses to Magomed Magomedov and Anthony Leone at ACB 67 and 76.
ACB 87 will be headlined by a featherweight contest between Kane Mousah and Robert Whiteford. The event will take place on May 19th 2018 at the Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham, England. Tickets are on sale now at www.motorpointarenanottingham.com.
