Bruno Malfacine qualified to the quarter finals of the IBJJF World Jiu Jitsu Championship taking place in The Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, USA.
He is currently competing his 10th world Jiu-Jitsu championship competition and will face Juan Lopes da Silva in the quarter finals to earn a chance to head to the Semi-Finals. The Jiu-Jitsu legend has stated that after his victory at IBJJF World Championship, his focus will be to secure the championship title in Flyweight division at Brave Combat Federation.
Bruno Malfacine is currently signed with Brave Combat Federation and is one of the greatest competitors in Jiu-Jitsu history. Malfacine has won nine IBJJF World Championship gold medals, and four IBJJF Pan American titles to surpass the world championships gold medal record established by Omar Salum in 2000. Malfacine also holds the record for most gold medals in a single weight class.
