Jeremy Kennedy has signed a multi-fight contract with Brave Combat Federation ending his tenure with UFC.
Kennedy holds an 11-1 record, and trains at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, Nevada amongst other fighters such as UFC middleweight “Smilin” Sam Alvey, under tutorige of UFC legend Randy Couture.
The 25 year old Canadian is among the top upcoming talents in the world, and held a 11 fight win streak before taking his first loss against Alexander Volkanovski in February at UFC 221. He has also recently played the role of cornerman for bantamweight competitor Gurdarshan Mangat.
Sources close to Kennedy revealed that he will be looking get his first fight under the Brave CF banner in the month of August and it is speculated that he will compete in the featherweight division of Brave Combat Federation. The division is currently dominated by submission maestro Elias Boudegzdame, but has picked up a new injection of talent in the recent months.
“I chose Brave CF because when I went out a couple times to corner Gary Mangat, I really liked their team and how they ran things. Brave CF is one of the bigger organisations based out of Asia, so I wanted to test myself against some of the best international fighters in the world.” said Jeremy Kennedy.
