Report: Combat Sambo world champion targets the Brave CF flyweight title

Former ACB flyweight champion, Velimurad Aliskerov has expressed that his current professional focus is to win the flyweight championship at Brave Combat Federation. He is already the 2016 Combat Sambo World Champion and is currently undefeated in his professional MMA career.

Alkhasov explained that Brave Combat Federation is building up to be one of the best flyweight divisions in international mixed martial arts. His approaching fight with Sean Santella will certainly be a test of his skill-set, as Santella is among the most experienced fighters under the current Brave CF flyweight banner. He boasts an impressive Jiu-Jitsu submission which will provide a showdown between a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Combat Sambo.

“I have a tough and interesting fight.” said Velimurad. This will bring more attention and value towards the growing flyweight division. My opponent is experienced, however, my training was so excellent that gives me an added advantage. The fight will speak for itself and the result is the ultimate statement. I am here to win and claim the championship title when it will be introduced. The flyweight division needs a champion and it will be me”.

Velimurad had his preparations in Dagestan under the renowned coach, Emiragaev Esedulla who helped mentor and train world-class athletes including Khabib Nurmagomedov, amongst others.

Brave 14 will go down in Tangier, Morrocco on August 18th. It will feature also feature Ikram Aliskerov and Artur Guseynov – both from Dagestan, Russia.
